The fourth annual Car, Bike and Craft Show will be held on Sunday at St. Jude's Parish in Hopatcong from 12 to 4 p.m.
The event, held by the Knights of Columbus, will allow local residents to showcase their cars to the public and have a chance at winning a trophy. A group from the non-profit organization will select the top 10 cars and best motorcycle.
Event organizer Frank Wimbush said every year about 40 locals show their cars, and throughout the years they've seen just about every model and type from vintage cars to newer luxury brands.
"We get antiques, we get newer model Mustangs, we've had a Lamborghini, we had the Bat Mobile one year; we've also had an antique fire truck," he said, "it varies from all these different cars."
For those who plan on showing their cars or bikes it costs $10 for pre-registration and $15 at the door. Admission is free for all spectators.
The money raised will go towards the Knights of Columbus fund, which distributes the money to local organizations including the food bank at the West Side United Methodist Church and Sussex County Association of Disabled Citizens.
Throughout the day there will be food for attendees to enjoy including pulled pork and other barbeque food, a 50/50 raffle, and oldies music for entertainment.
Wimbush said the event usually brings dozens of car enthusiasts, church members, and other local residents, and he's looking forward to seeing what the community shows this year.
"All of these cars are gorgeous," he said. "These people put a tremendous amount of money into restoring some of these cars. It's just amazing to see people willing to come and display their cars for the local public."
