Giants Feature Hopatcong Star's Touchdown

Chiefs' own Joe Martinek scores for Big Blue against the Jets.

Hopatcong High School graduate and the state's all-time high school rushing champ Joe Martinek is making a name for himself with one area NFL team and against another.

The former Chiefs star scored a 14-yard touchdown reception for the New York Giants against the New York Jets in Saturday's preseason contest. Martinek's score helped his squad to a 26-3 victory.

So how much did the Giants think about the score? It's featured on the team's website. Check out Martinek's TD dive here. Pay attention to the hurdle at the end that gets him over the goal line.

Martinek and the Giants take the field next this preseason against the Chicago Bears on Friday at home at MetLife Stadium. The game begins at 8 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS, WCBSFM 101.1, and Sirius station 88.
