Want to thank my friends, Alice & Dave Gul, for traveling up to Hopatcong with donations they received from their hometown of Bloomingdale and bringing them to the shelter at Hopatcong High School for the displaced residents & volunteers there!!! What a wonderful good deed from Hopatcong's newest business owners of the Bluegill Cafe!!!

This is the house I grew up in when my family lived in Sparta! We owned it from 1968-1980. It makes me sad to look at it. Hope the family who owns it is safe! It would be nice to see how you rebuild....

I think you forgot to acknowledge the fact that Hopatcong fire department was out during the worst of the storm and then on Tuesday they were also out helping to clear the roads with DPW. They left their own families to help those in need. I would like to thank the guys and gals on the Hopatcong Fire dept! Great job guys:)
