It's almost here.
The biggest celebration in the borough in 2012 is just a day away. Hopatcong Days start Friday with the Miss Hopatcong contest and end Sunday with a bevy of activity. But Saturday will be the real draw as more than a thousand could filter through Modick Park, coming together as a community.
If you're reading Hopatcong Patch, there's a good chance you'll want to attend at least part of Hopatcong Days. And if you're on the fence, you might want to check out the PDF on the right featuring a list of the events.
So, what's got you most excited?
Is it the all-day fun expected Saturday? What about the music or the family movie night? Or maybe it's the idea of hanging out with neighbors, celebrating the community you love.

The Hopatcong Community Garden will be there! We'll have information items such as pics of us constructing the garden as well as current pics. Happy to answer any gardening questions anyone may have. We'll also be conducting tours of the garden at 11:30, 1:30 and 3:30 on Saturday. We'll start at our table in Modick park and walk on over.

Miss Hopatcong Pageant TONIGHT(7/13) at 6:30pm at the High School Auditorium....still looking for Miss contestants (age 17-21)....if you are interested please come to the HS for a rehearsal at 3:30pm and we will register you there (only $15 to enter)!

We have been living here in Hopatcong for 7 years and we have attended church in the park every year. There is nothing more fulfilling then to worship the Lord under a clear blue sky. It just lifts your soul.

Im getting more excited to see the "Hopatcong Day" electronic sign be taken down
