HHS Report Cards Online, Sparta Library Board Talks Literacy and Events

Here's what you need to know for Wednesday.

• Fingers crossed, high schoolers: It's Report Card Day at Hopatcong High School. According to the Hopatcong Borough Schools website, grades will be available online Wednesday. Find details at the website. 
• If you have a couple of hours free in the afternoon, consider trying your hand at the classic game Mah Jongg. The Sparta Township Library offers time to play the ancient board game every Wednesday from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in the building's lower level story room. Beginners are welcome, and light refreshments are provided. 
• The Sparta Library Board holds its monthly meeting Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.  The library is at 22 Woodport Road.
• It's meeting time as well for Sparta's Zoning Board. The agenda has not yet been released, however, the board's focus deals with considering building proposals to ensure that consistency and adherence to zoning laws are in place prior to granting approval. The meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at the Sparta Municipal Complex, 65 Main St.
• Keeping It Clean: In Hopatcong, sanitation crews will follow Garbage Pickup Schedule B;  no recycling pickup is indicated on the calendar. In Sparta, check with the online schedule.
