Morris Habitat for Humanity Dedicates Home in Budd Lake

For the first Morris Habitat for Humanity "Blitz Build", a house in Mt. Olive was built with help from over 400 volunteers.  In just 19 hours over two rainy days, the home was raised from slab to roof, including dry wall, windows, doors, siding, electrical, plumbing and landscaping. Volunteers continued the finishing touches and just last week, the house was dedicated with a ribbon cutting ceremony.  The house is now the home of Celia Falen a single mother with two children!  Shown here is Celia (left) with Blair Bravo, Morris Habitat’s Executive Director.
