Twist on Thai Cafe

Hopatcong has a new resturaunt coming to town, Twist on Thai Cafe at the corner of River Styx Road and Cresent Road.  I had an opportunity to speak with the owner  Ken Davis today and what a pleasure.  His partner Patcharin (to friends Ploy) along with her family will bring the authentic taste of Thialand to Hopatcong.  If you have never had Thai food you are in for a real treat.  Ken’s Father-in-Law Watcharin (Bank to his friends) was a chef in Thialand and will now be show casing his talents at the Twist on Thai Café.  Ken let me know that the name also has a “Twist” on the offerings that will be on the menu.  Ken gave me one of the many new twist that will be offered, taco Thai.  Not sure what that is going to be but it sure sounds good.  They are looking to open the resturaunt around the first week of November.  I will be going back to Twist on Thai Café right before they open to take new pictures of the inside once it is completed and get a sneak peak at the menu.  So far the changes made to the inside are very warm and inviting.  I really hope they add delivery service to their offerings.  Below is a link and a paragraph from Wikapedia about Thai food.

Thai cuisine is the national cuisine of Thailand. Blending elements of several Southeast Asian traditions, Thai cooking places emphasis on lightly prepared dishes with strong aromatic components. The spiciness of Thai cuisine is well known. As with other Asian cuisines, balance, detail and variety are of great significance to Thai chefs. Thai food is known for its balance of three to four fundamental taste senses in each dish or the overall meal: sour, sweet, salty, and bitter.[1]
