$600 For Hopatcong Police Dog, Pound Project

More than 100 attend fundraiser.

A night of bowling and $600? They'll take it.

Hopatcong Scouts helped raise money for the Hopatcong 's bloodhound, Rosco, and the Hopatcong Pound Project at Circle Lanes in Roxbury on Saturday. More than 100 people attended the event, which also saw Hopatcong Police Detective Mike Luciani and Pound Project leaders Wendy Ciardi and Ed VanOrden.

The donations will be presented 7 p.m. Jan. 18 at St. Jude's Church.

Donna Strong said she wanted to thank Circle Lanes and snack stand operator, Tammy, "for helping us organize such a successful fundraiser," she said.
