Hopatcong Days Features Parade, Rides, Games, Contests
Here is a list of events and activities happening on Saturday.
Hopatcong Days returns Saturday with the annual parade, rides, entertainment, hot dog eating contest and more.
The celebration parade begins at 10:30 a.m. from Hudson Maxim and ends Modick Park. A tribute to local soldiers and their families will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Maxim Glen Monument.
Other activities include:
- Green Fair
- DJ music by JPJ Entertainment from noon to 4 p.m. at Modick Park
- Dunk tank at Maxim Glen wil proceeds benefiting the Hopatcong Marching Band
- Games sponsored by HEPTO at Maxim Glen
- Rides and water slide from noon to 4 p.m. at Modick Park
- Rides at Maxim Glen from noon to 4 p.m.
- Music at Maxim Glen Gazebo from noon to 4 p.m.
- Baking contest at Maxim Glen at 2 p.m.
- Face painting and tattoos sponsored by Girl Scout Troop 341 at Maxim Glen from noon to 4 p.m.
- Pony rides at Modick Park from noon to 3 p.m.
- Petting zoo at Modick Park from noon to 3 p.m.
- Classic car show and motorcycles on Hopatchung Road from noon to 4 p.m.
- Magician show at Maxim Glen at 1 and 3 p.m.
- Hot dog eating contest at Modick Park at 1 p.m.
