Seemingly never-ending snow and messy roads have taken over the region recently, and it might be time to unwind and kickback for a few hours.
That’s why the Annual Big Brew Beer Festival at the Morristown Armory has timed its return perfectly, kicking off at noon Saturday, Feb. 15.
More than 250 beer offerings will be made available as well as brewery representatives to go along with food, music and other entertainment, according to the event’s website.
Two sessions will be held: the first for VIP admission is noon to 4:30 p.m., with general admission from 1 to 4:30 p.m. The second shift is 6 to 10:30 p.m. for VIP admission, with general admission from 7 to 10:30 p.m.
VIP admission will cost $85 with general admission running $55. Designated drives can enter for just $10, the website said. All attendees must be 21 years or older.
As of Friday morning, 75-percent of tickets were sold out. Last year's event drew a slew of problems when ticket-scanning devices malfunctioned, leaving paid attendees out in the cold. Customers were refunded by the event organizers.
