Get ready for a short week, Hopatcong. (Like you needed a reminder.)

Most borough residents can look forward to a three-day workweek with Thanksgiving coming up. But that doesn't mean there will be a shortage of things happening in Hopatcong—things that could affect you.

With that in mind, here are five things you need to know this week.

  1. You Need to Know It's a Short Week for the , Too: Borough offices will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving.
  2. You Need to Know About the School Board: The Board of Education will meet Monday at 7:30 p.m. at the . We missed last week's work session due to the powder puff football game. Check out videos and photos from that night .
  3. You Need to Know About Donating: Don't forget to drop off food or other goods to 's Save the People Food Pantry before Thanksgiving. It will be open from 9:30 a.m. to noon until Wednesday.
