Carly Wolff Crowned Miss Hopatcong

Hopatcong grad plans to study interior designing in college.

Hopatcong graduate Carly Wolff was crowned Miss Hopatcong 2011 on Friday night at Hopatcong High School.

Wolff, 18, was one of five contestants competing for the title. This was just her second ever pageant, after she competed in the Junior Miss Hopatcong division last year.

An avid soccer player, Wolff will study interior designing at the County College of Morris in the fall, as well as continue her soccer career. Her goal is to graduate from CCM and go on to a four-year college.

Wolff believes the public speaking portion of the pageant put her above the other contestants. She also believes her involvement in Girl Scouts, the National Honor Society and her volunteerism make her a great role model for young Hopatcong girls.

This summer Wolff is working as a life guard at Camp Wheeler and a waitress at TGIF, and will test for her black belt in Isshinryu some time in August.
