Council Meets, Clothing Drive Ahead This Week

April is fully here and the spring-like temperatures are starting to catch up. It’s a busy week as usual in Hopatcong and Sparta, so let’s see what’s going on.

You Need Some Council: The Sparta Township Council will hold its regular meeting Tuesday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m. The governing body recently discussed its budget and will be going over other municipal matters. The meeting is open to the public and all are welcome.

You Need to Donate for a Drive: The Hopatcong High School Parent Teacher Student Organization Clothing Drive is set for 9 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Hopatcong High School. Check out what’s being sought for donations by clicking here.

You Need to Go Green: And recycle at the Hopatcong Recycling Center, which is open at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Veterans Park. The service is free to all residents.

You Need Some Thrift: The weekly thrift shop at West Side United Methodist Church in Hopatcong will be open Tuesday at 10 a.m. Everyone’s invited!
