Bert Lahr, who just wanted a little bit of courage in his famed role, often hung out at Northwood Community Dock, according to the Facebook page.

"Seriously though the area he often hung out at was the Northwood Community Dock, located next to the Northwood Inn, Kabobs, and now The Lake Tavern. This building has a famous place in our history as it was where the Northwood Community Association held the meeting which led to the creation of Northwood Engine Co. 2 over 86 years ago!
