  1. You Need to Know About Goodbye Friday … Again! The Hopatcong band will play alongside stars Good Charlotte and Third Eye Blind on May 28 at the Festival For Humanity at Mountain Creek in Vernon. Click here for more information.
  2. You Need to Know About Pizza and Religion: Deacon Tom Friel hosts a "Theology Table" each Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at . Feel free to discuss all types of religion with Friel and friends over a slice or three.
  3. You Need to Know About This Hang Out: There will be a senior social at the at 1:30 p.m. Call Sue Parichuk, the borough's recreation coordinator, at (973) 770-2701 for more information.
  4. You Need to Know About the Women's Club: The club will have its general meeting at 10:30 a.m. at the Hopatcong Senior Citizens Center. For more information, call (973) 398-1267 or (973) 398-5021.
  5. You Need to Know About This Meeting: Hopatcong's Republican Club will meet at the Hopatcong Senior Citizens Center at 7:30 p.m. Lake Hopatcong Commission representative Daniel McCarthy will discuss the Department of Environmental Protection's Lake Hopatcong Water Level Management Plan and other issues facing the LHC. Republican Club meetings are members-only. Prospective members should meet with Howard Baker, executive board president, before the meeting.
