Hopatcong Filling Administrator, Clerk Positions

There's always something happening in Hopatcong.

Hopatcong is looking for a couple of people to fill two of its more important positions. Read more in 5 Things You Need to Know Today.

  1. You Need to Know About Special Meetings: Hopatcong's mayor and council held a special meeting on Monday to interview candidates for soon-to-be-open borough administrator and clerk positions. No formal action was taken. There will be another special meeting for the same purpose on April 4 at 6 p.m. at .
  2. You Need to Know About the Musical: 's drama club will perform its musical, "Me and my Girl," from Thursday through Sunday at 7 p.m. in the auditorium.
  3. You Need to Know About April 1: That's when spring sports officially begin. The baseball and softball teams will start their schedules Friday. The rest begin next week.
  4. You Need to Know About Open Mic Night: On Wednesday, the high school art department will host an open mic night at the school's library from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be coffee and snacks. Students, family and faculty are welcomed to attend. Eighteen performances are scheduled.
  5. You Need to Know About Hopatcong's Roughest Roads: It's a question many in Hopatcong have asked. Now it's on video. The borough has some rough roads, and Patch asked residents which were the worst. Click here for the video. We'll add a new opinion each weekday.
