Hopatcong Moms Club: We Want You

The following is from the Stanhop Area Moms Club.

After a few recently rained out attempts to host an outdoor event the Stanhope Area MOMS Club will host an indoor Spring Open House play date on Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at 9:30am at the Stanhope Presbyterian Church, 100 Main Street, Stanhope, NJ.   

All moms who may be interested in building friendships, camaraderie and a support system with other moms in Byram, Netcong, Hopatcong and Stanhope are welcome to attend. The Stanhope Area MOMS Club offers membership to stay at home and part-time working moms in Byram, Hopatcong, Netcong and Stanhope. We also offer a specialized membership for teachers or others who are only able to join with us during the months of June, July & August.

Our chapter is made up of 35 members who get together throughout the month at various activities with their children to promote socialization and friendships between both mothers and children. 

Activities may include nature walks, member teas, Moms’ Nights Out, age-organized playgroups, seasonal activities (beach play dates, etc.) and guest speakers.

We participate in various service projects annually to support our local community. We also offer ongoing educational programming focused on family relevant topics for our members throughout the year.
