How long have studied Lake Hopatcong? What do you like mostabout this community? Been active with Lake Hopatcong's history for over 20 years. I most like the people I have met through my efforts at the museum.

What community and civic organizations are you currently involved in?

What drew you to your post as the president of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum and what do you find most interesting about the work you do? It was a combination of my love for the lake and my love of history.  I most enjoy expanding people's knowledge of Lake Hopatcong's past whether it is through the programs we do or the ongoing exhibits at the museum.

What personal and professional accomplishments are you most proud of? Modernization and expansion of the Lake Hopatcong Historical Museum, awarding of scholarships at my old high school, and my years as an attorney and manager at Picatinny Arsenal working for the Army and Marine Corps.

Who is most influential in your life? My Dad whose volunteerism, perseverance, and enthusiasm I have tried to emulate.

What person-professionally or personally-do you most admire? The young Marines and soldiers I often have the opportunity to work with.

What are key ways other people can make a difference locally? Volunteer to work with and assist organizations in the community.

What's one thing people don't know about Lake Hopatcong that they really should? Many people living here today do not realize the interesting history of Lake Hopatcong and their community.  Lake Hopatcong was a former major northeast resort which was known throughout the US.  It was a place that thousands came to every summer and where many of the most influential people of their day came to relax.  Local residents should be proud of their boroughs and towns local history.
