  1. You Need to Know About Hawks Soccer Signups: The youth organization will hold signups from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the tonight. Click of Hawks members fixing
  2. You Need to Know About the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge: It'll present Hopatcong's golf team with a $4,000 check this evening. The money will be used to pay head coach Dom Schiavone's stipend. Last year, the Board of Education cut several programs from the budget amid significant state aid losses. The golf and marching band returned this year as parent-funded organizations.
  3. You Need to Know About the Really Big News: Gov. Chris Christie is coming to Hopatcong. He'll hold a town hall-style meeting at St. Jude's Parish on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Click here for the story.
  4. You Need to Know About the Wrestling Live Blog: Hopatcong Patch's editor will be in Atlantic City all weekend, helping Patch coordinate it's state wrestling tournament coverage.   5. You Need to Know About High School Baseball: Spring might not start until March 21. But, for all intents and purposes, it begins today when Hopatcong High School's baseball teams hit the fields for their season's first practices. It should be a big year for the Chiefs, who have a senior-laden lineup.
