Lake Hopatcong Commission Meeting Postponed
Scheduling conflicts move meeting to next Monday.
The Lake Hopatcong Commission's monthly meeting has been postponed.
The commission, which last week , will meet next Monday at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson Municipal Building instead of tonight due to scheduling conflicts.
Last week, the commission said it would halt weed harvesting in July—earlier than ever—due to a lack of funds. It expected state aid, but it never came, forcing the commission to hold an emergency meeting last week to address its economic stability.
