- You Need to Know This Meeting Was Canceled: The planning board meeting is off, presumably because of a "nothing" agenda. The next planning board meeting will be on Feb. 1. Thanks, Rose Marie Winfield, for keeping Hopatcong Patch in the loop. Thanks for Laura Burns, too, who always keeps us updated from borough hall.
- You Need to Know This Meeting is On: The Lake Hopatcong Commission will meet at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center. And while that's great, it's not the big fish. The LHC will meet on Jan. 31 to discuss the state Department of Environmental Protection's water-level management plan. Be there!
- You Need to Know About the Booster Club … Because we don't. There's supposed to be a meeting at 7 p.m. at the high school. Will it happen? Not sure. The booster club disbanded this summer. Let us know if anybody has stepped in.
