Flag Drop Box Installed at Hopatcong Police Department
30 flags have been disposed of since May.
Less than a month after Hopatcong Chief of Police Robert Brennan lambasted a local business for not properly disposing of a damaged American Flag, a box has been established in the lobby of the Hopatcong Police Department for just that purpose courtesy of resident Michael Mandrone.
Since May, Brennan has accepted 30 American flags.
