Some Earth-Friendly Ideas Around Hopatcong

  1. You Need to Know About a Walk in the Woods: On Saturday, there will be a walk through borough trails, starting at Fire Co. No. 2 at 9:15 a.m.
  2. You Need to Know About a Charity Hike: There will be a charity hike at Hudson Farm at 270 Sparta-Stanhope Rd. on May 21 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Registration starts at 7 a.m. The hike will benefit various borough organization.
  3. You Need to Know About a Plant Sale: There will be a Mother's Day plant sale at Fire Co. No. 2 on May 7 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  4. You Need to Know About Shredding: The Hopatcong High School Project Graduation Team will host "Shred Day" at borough hall's parking lot on May 7 from 9 a.m. to noon. Shredding will cost $7 per box.
  5. You Need to Know About Cleaning Up the Borough: There will be a Hopatcong clean-up day on May 14, starting at the Department of Public Works building. It'll be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Gloves and bags will be provided.
