Sparta BOE Meets Monday
The Sparta Township Board of Education will have their next meeting Monday at 7 p.m. at the Mohawk Avenue School auditorium. Stay with us this week as we provide updates from the meeting.
Sparta Township Council Meets Tuesday
The town council will next convene on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. at the Sparta Municipal Builidng. We'll keep you posted on what was discussed at this week's meeting.
Annual Holiday House Decorating Contest in Hopatcong
The borough is holding its annual Holiday House Decorating Contest this week. Residents have until Wednesday to enter by submitting a form that can be found in the Municipal Building. Judging will take place on Friday at 6:30 p.m. where the top three homes will be selected.

Students Perform in Holiday Concerts
Students at both Hopatcong High School and the middle school will perform in their holiday concerts on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Christmas Carols at St. Jude's
Christmas carols will be performed at St. Jude's Parish from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. A light lunch will also be served. Those who wish to attend can RSVP to Father George at (973) 398-6377.

Hopatcong Project Graduation Benefit Sunday
The Holiday Hair Trimming benefit for Hopatcong High School's project graduation will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gina Marie's Hair Studio in Netcong. For more information about the event call (908) 963-1766.
Santa Makes Another Visit to the Borough
Santa will be making his way to Hopatcong Fire House No. 4 for a visit with the kids from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
