VIDEO: Bertrand Island Memories Live Forever
Another look at one of Lake Hopatcong's most historic attractions.
Looks like some people just can't let Bertrand Island go.
Search for the former Lake Hopatcong attraction, which brought in celebrities and visitors from 1928 to 1983, on Youtube and you'll come up with a ton of video collages and clips of the old amusement park.
Here's another one. While it's all still shots, it's got a bunch of photos of materials associated with Betrand Island, from tickets to flyers. And, of course, there are plenty of pictures of the old place, which are bound to reinvigorate the memories of many longtime Hopatcong residents.
