NOT FUNKY TOWN—SAFETY TOWN Hopatcong students learned traffic safety at Hudson Maxim on Thursday. It's part of a two-week program run by volunteers, featuring borough emergency services.

HISTORY COMING TO HOPATCONG World Trade Center steel will arrive in the borough on Thursday at 1 p.m. The steel beams, which will bookend Hopatcong's 9/11 monument, are 9 and 11 feet tall, respectively.

LAKE HOPATCONG COMMISSION SURVIVES The comission, charged a decade ago with ensuring Lake Hopatcong's health, won't go bankrupt. Rather, it will end weed harvesting earlier than ever.
