What You Need to Know About Saturday's Flu Clinic in Hopatcong

Hopatcong High School will host a flu clinic Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. sponsored by the Sussex County Department of Environmental and Public Health Services Office of Public Health Nursing.

Phew, that's a long name. Here are five things you need to know about the clinic:

  1. You Need to Know to Register: Don't just show up. Call (973) 579-0570 or go to susssex.nj.us.
  2. You Need to Know What's Offered: Flu ($15), pneumoccal ($35) and tetanus ($20) vaccines. Flue and pneumoccal vaccines will be free for those age 65 and older. It must have been 10 years since your last tetanus vaccine for you to be eligible for another.
  3. You Need to Know How to Pay: Cash is preferred.
  4. You Need to Know More Dates: Sept. 21 at Sparta Middle School; Oct. 1 at Fredon Civic Center; Oct. 15 at Hardyston Middle School; Oct. 19 at Sandyston Municipal Building; Oct. 29 at Vernon Senior Center.
  5. You Need to Know to be on Time: Self-explanatory.
