Vets Summer Fest 2013 a Benefit for NJ Homeless Veterans AUGUST 10th at VASA Park
11 AM to 8 PMAre you surprised to learn that there are over 7500 homeless veterans in NJ alone? OPERATION CHILLOUT is doing something about it! We are a 501c3 homeless veterans outreach organization that goes out into the fields, underpasses, riverbanks and ally ways to find and rescue homeless veterans where they live.
Want to do something to help? Want to have a great time doing it?? Come to VASA Park for VETS SUMMER FEST by taking Rte 46 to Wolfe Rd in Budd Lake (For GPS 1 Vasa Dr. Hackettstown, NJ 07840).
We have scoured the region for the best bands we ever heard -including Nikki Briar, Chelsea Carlson, The Bob Lanza Blues Band, Zigman Bird, the Stinking Gringos, Lenny & the 45's, Jimbeau and the Retrocasters, Ed Saultz, and the Fossil Fuel band. DJ SKEE will provide music between acts!
It doesn't stop there! We have a CAR SHOW, a MOTORCYCLE SHOW and a Motorcycle RUn from Tramontin Harley Davidson (Exit 12 on I-80)... There will be raffles, door prizes and chances on a custom Miller Lite Motorcycle.
KIDS under 15 are FREE, Veterans and military admitted at a discount!
GO TO www.vetssummerfest.org and click on the Tickets tab. Select Buy Tickets at Eventbrite and choose your category of ticket. You may also donate to the cause of homeless veterans on that page.
So come one, come all to the VETS SUMMER FEST and have a great family time with many planned activities for the kids, great food and beverages of all types.

Car enthusiasts registration is at 0930-1100
Motorcycle run registration is at Tramontin H-D at 0945 Kick Stands Up at 1030
Cars will be judged from 1-4 PM with awards at 4:45
Motorcycles will be judged from 11:30-1:30 PM with awards and prizes at 2PM
