Lake Hopatcong Fishing

Trout, Stripers and Walleye are the ticket along with some decent size Bass. As the weather cools Walleye will move into the shallower water they prefer 55 degree water so get ready for them. Local tackle shops are getting ready for the winter fishing season and have all the live baits you will need to have a successful day on the water. Check in a Dow's and see what advice Laurie can give you about the best up to date fishing locations. Stop in and enjoy a Lakeside lunch at one of the restaurants located around the lake to add to a great day of fishing. Don't forget to bring the camera as the leaves are almost at their peak fall colors, its great to be a sportsperson.
