5 Groups to Consider for Giving Tuesday

What efforts and organizations are you supporting on Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday

Giving Tuesday offers everyone an opportunity to reach out in service to others. That service can take many forms such as volunteering one's physical labor or professional skills, donating goods or sharing resources for worthy causes. Writing a check or inputting a credit card number to a secure website works too.

For your consideration: five groups in the area that are doing good. Do you have other suggestions? Please share them in the comments.

What groups have you supported for Giving Tuesday? What organizations and efforts would you recommend? And what do you think about Giving Tuesday in general? How does it stack up against Gray Thursday or Cyber Monday? Tell us in the comments.

We do accept contributions to our organization, HAD Hopatcong Against Drugs. Any contributions received will go towards purchasing more lawn signs for the community. Currently we have been funding the lawn sign campaign through the board members and their families making personal contributions. Our signs only cost $1.65 each per 100 ordered. If all our Facebook members sent in $1.65 each, we could order 600 more signs. If you would like to help us with the lawn sign campaign, you can send a check payable to HAD – Hopatcong Against Drugs. It can be mailed to P.O. Box 826, Hopatcong, NJ 07843. Please help out if you can and thanks for your continued support.
