Rescued Dog Can Make Adoptive Family 'Lucky'

Dog of the week is ready to play from Eleventh Hour Rescue.

Don’t let this lucky dog’s limp fool you: he’s ready to play and be loved.

Lucky, found as a stray in Tennessee, is a hound mix less than two years old. When located, it was learned Lucky suffered a traumatic injury to his hindquarters, causing him constant pain and the inability to walk around.

He was then taken in by Eleventh Hour Rescue, and with the help of Morris Animal Inn in Morristown, underwent extensive multiple surgeries and physical therapy needed for a full recovery.

Today, Lucky has a slight limp, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit. He greets everyone he meets with a big hello and loves to play.

Lucky is available for adoption at Eleventh Hour Rescue. To find out more about this pup, go to ehrdogs.org or call 973-664-0865.
