Area businesses have banded together to bring Sparta a night of glamour, fine food, prizes and, best of all, the satisfaction of helping two worthy causes.

Restaurant Forno Italiano, 191 Woodport Road, hosts "Fashion, Food, Dance and Giving Back" Thursday at 7 p.m. Under the direction of Onore Clothing and PB&J Stores, a group of area residents will model the latest in men's and women's fashions, jewelry from Golden Castle Jewelers and hair and makeup styling by Salon Serendipity and Mancuso Salon & Spa.

The restaurant's blog calls Thursday's show "a glamorous and gourmet night of wonderful food and fabulous fashions" and an opportunity to "see and be seen."

Proceeds will benefit the family of Evin Muse, an area teen suffering from bone cancer, and the nonprofit Sussex County Women's Forum. Guests can choose to donate to either or both beneficiaries; make checks payable to “Evin Muse Family” or to “SCWF.” You must call 973-500-2924 to reserve seats. For more info on the fashion event, call Glenn Edwards at 973-769-9779.
