Sparta Resident Earns Spot in Ithaca College Honor Society
Tyler Manning, a sophomore at Ithaca College in New York State, was honored earlier this year too, when he was named a Dean's List scholar in the spring.
Tyler Manning, a resident of Sparta and a 2011 graduate of Sparta High School, was inducted into Ithaca College's Oracle Honor Society on Nov. 4.
First-year students who maintain a grade point average in the top 10 percent of all students in their school throughout their first full academic year are invited into the society.
Manning, a sophomore, is majoring in Television and Radio with a concentration in Media Production as a student at Ithaca's Park School of Communication. The college is located in New York's Finger Lakes region and is home to 6, 100 undergraduate and 400 graduate students.
