Hear from Local Business Owners at Women's History Month Celebration

Teens and adults are invited to get career advice from the owners of successful small businesses.

A free seminar about owning small businesses will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, March 21st, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency.

The presentation will focus on local, women-owned businesses in honor of Women’s History Month. Kathy Esposito, co-owner of Josten’s, will be joined by Tracey Ivaldi, co-owner of Perona Farms, Sara Megletti, owner of PB & J Stores in Newton, and Ginny Smith, owner of Rainbow Press for a discussion of their background, education and the tasks that accompany their unique professions.  Questions from the audience will be welcome.

“Becoming You:  Small Business Careers” will touch on all aspects of entrepreneurship, including marketing and sales, inventory management and customer relations.  The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required.
