New Breast Cancer Support Group Forming

Project Self-Sufficiency announces the formation of a breast cancer support group which will meet on Tuesdays, March 18th and March 25th, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.  Women currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, as well as breast cancer survivors, are invited to attend.  The group will be facilitated by Haley Ward McCracken, Breast Health Educator at Project Self-Sufficiency.  The group will aim to present up-to-date information about breast cancer, and provide comfort, teach coping skills, help to reduce anxiety, and provide a place for participants to share common concerns and receive emotional support. To register for the breast cancer support group, or to find out more about the agency’s breast health education services, call Project Self-Sufficiency at 973-940-3500.
