Optimum service is terrible

I live in hopatcong and have had problems with optimum service for many years,with tv mostley but also with internet lately.I had problems with my DVR box adding time not recording etc,i couldnt wait for dvr plus,got dvr plus worse new samsung boxes slow to respond dvr fast forward back to regular speed runs on its a nitemare.The say its the server what are we guinea pigs if you want us to test a product give it to us for free until its perfected or don,t give it to us at all.Then they raise our cost 2.98 a couple of months ago and now $7.00 price goes up service gets worse.The town fathers signed a contract with them so we cant get Fios not saying it would be better but we do not have the alternative to try it, Everyone in town with problems should call the mayors office let them know as if they already don,t mabey some calls from the mayors office may get something done.Don,t take it any more call if you have a problem don,t just live with it If enough people call Optimum and the town hall mabey will finally do something,Lower rates instead of raise them until they perfect the service.Let us know your experience here.
