Retired School Cafeteria Worker Vera Sutton Dies at 97

Sutton worked for the Sparta Board of Education in the school cafeteria for many years. She was a member of the Andover Senior Citizens.She is survived by sisters Ruth Wightman, Adelaide Mills and Angeline Crissey,  brother Calvin Mills, nephew Richard Crissey and his wife, Janice; niece Susan Sutton and many other nieces and nephews.A graveside service takes place at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sparta Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Sutton's memory to the Sparta Volunteer Fire Department, 141 Woodport Road, Sparta, NJ 07871.
