Taxes

As an investor and commercial property owner in Hopatcong I am amazed that the town would raise taxes on my property some 36%. I am dealing with another property destroyed by super torm Sandy and this is unconscionable.
There is obviously complete disregard by the local government for the small businesses in Town. These taxes and the corresponding rates have no basis in realty or rents that can be charged. All you will succeed in doing is driving small business out of town and further degradation of the community
