The Sussex County Farm and Horse Show Foundation Presents the Thirteenth Annual Memorial Beefsteak Dinner

Memorial Dinner Raises Funds to Support the Sussex County Fairgrounds and More!

AUGUSTA, NJ-On Saturday, May 17th, at 5 p.m., the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show Foundation will be hosting its annual Beefsteak Dinner. This delicious event has become a fun tradition that benefits not only The Fairgrounds, but also other charitable work connected with the The Sussex County Farm and Horse Show Association.

The late Peter J. Cofrancesco, Jr. and his wife, Peggy, leaders in the quarter horse world and strong believers in the power of community contribution and charitable events founded the Beefsteak Dinner. The event was later adopted by the Directors of the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show, and has continued to be popular and successful ever since. The goal remains the same: to encourage The Fairgrounds to remain beautiful and beneficial for the community. Continued improvements, preservation, and beautification are vital to keeping The Fairgrounds going for many years to come, and the Beefsteak Dinner is one of many ways this can be accomplished. The Foundation and the Association are 501 (c) (3) organizations.
