Police: Bust Yields 3 Arrests, 52 Bags of Heroin, Weapons, Cash

Philip Vomero, 49, of Mount Arlington, David Evans Jr., 32, of Hackettstown, and Andrew Liddle, 32, of Netcong, arrested following month-long probe.

Three people were arrested following a month-long investigation by multiple agencies that seized 52 bags of heroin, a gun, illegal knives, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and more than $600 in cash in a Mount Arlington bust last week, police said.

Officers from Hopatcong, Mount Arlington and Roxbury searched the home of Philip Vomero, 49, last Wednesday, according to the Daily Record.

Vomero, David Evans Jr., 32, of Hackettstown, and Andrew Liddle, 32, of Netcong, were each charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, distribution of heroin, conspiracy to possess or distribute heroin, tampering with evidence, hindering prosecution by destruction of evidence and possession of paraphernalia.

Vomero and Liddle also face heroin possession and distribution charges in Roxbury, the article said.
