Cops: Hopatcong Men Had Pot, Oxycodone

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Two Hopatcong men were carrying pot and oxycodone, said.

Officer William Sutphen saw Justin Fastiggi, 26, of Wildwood Shores Drive, and Stephen Procacci, 24, of Papakating Road, walking on River Styx Road around 1 p.m. April 12, police said.

Sutphen knew one of them had a warrant out for his arrest, police said, and learned Procacci had one out of Mount Olive. Both Procacci and Fastiggi smelled of burned marijuana, police said.

During a search, Sutphen found a small bag of marijuana on Procacci, police said.
Fastiggi handed Sutphen a glass marijuana pipe and a leather case filled with oxycodone for which he didn't have a prescription, police said.

Procacci was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance. Fastiggi was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of paraphernalia and possession of drugs without a prescription.

Procacci and Fastiggi each were processed and released, police said.
