Cops: Man Drove Recklessly on Drugs
The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A California man was driving recklessly with a suspended license while under the influence of drugs in Hopatcong, police said.
Gino Dryer of Spring Valley, Ca., was charged with driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, driving with a suspended license and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Police said they pulled over Dryer, who failed field sobriety tests. But a breath test showed Dryer's blood-alcohol content was .05, under the legal limit, police said. But because Dryer appeared more intoxicated than would be expected with a .05 blood alcohol level, police said, they gave him drug examination. That showed Dryer had taken a combination of drugs, police said.
