Cops: Man Drove With Pills, Suspended License

The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Hopatcong man drove with pills without a prescription and a suspended license, said.

Officer James Bianculli pulled over 31-year-old Kristopher Baglio, of Hopatcong, for driving with a suspended license, on Leo Avenue at 7:12 p.m. Monday, police said.

Bianculli called for a drug dog to search the vehicle, police said. Baglio then gave Bianculli permission to search his car, police said. Inside the car were various pills, police said. Baglio had a prescription for some of them, but he didn't have a prescription for 10 other pills, police said.

Baglio was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance, driving with a controlled dangerous substance and driving with a suspended license.

Baglio was processed and released, police said.
