Cops: Woman Gives Us Fake Name—Again!
The following arrest information was supplied by the Hopatcong police department. It does not indicate a conviction.
For the second time this week, a woman tried tricking a Hopatcong cop with a fake name, police said.
Officer William Sutphen stopped a vehicle for speeding on Lakeside Boulevard around 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, police said.
Sutphen recognized the front-seat passenger as someone with warrants out for her arrest, but couldn't remember her name, police said. So, when he asked for it, she gave him a false name and birth date, police said.

After learning the information was false, 30-year-old Nicole Ficarella of Hackettstown finally gave Sutphen her real name, police said. Ficarella had two warrants out for her arrest: one out of Hopatcong for $1,750 and another no-bail warrant out of Morris County, police said.
Ficarella was arrested and taken to the , where she was charged with hindering her own apprehension, police said. She was taken to Sussex County Jail en lieu of $2,500 bail, police said.
