Hopatcong Floods Remain, Roads Reopened [VIDEO]

Fire department performs several emergency pump-outs Wednesday morning.

Hopatcong police said heavy rains Tuesday night into Wednesday morning closed several roads and caused severe flooding.

Police said Francis Avenue, Ruth Street and Tobyhanna Avenue were closed due to flooding.

Heavy flooding was spotted near the Cresent Cove—also known as "The Mudhole"—and on Ruth Street. The fire department responded to an emergency pump out on Shawnee Road early Wednesday morning.
