Hopatcong High School Open For Shelter
Police say whole town is shut down, with multiple trees and wires down.
Police said Hopatcong High School is currently open for a shelter for residents to stay on Monday night as Hurricane Sandy continues to pass through the northeast.
Officer Robert Haffner said residents need to provide their own bedding and personal items at the shelter.
According to Haffner, the whole town is shut down on power, and the only way to get in town right now is from Lakeside Boulevard to Durban Avenue.

Haffner said there have been multiple reports of trees and wires down on the road, and reports of trees on houses.
He said several people were injured from one incident where a tree fell on a house, but couldn't provide any more details as to where the home was or who was injured as of 10 p.m. Monday night.
