Hopatcong Man Gets 3 Years for Dealing Ecstasy

Michael Calo, 21, admitted he was in possession with the intent to distribute the drug when he was arrested on March 21, 2013.

A Hopatcong man has been sentenced to three years in prison for distributing Ecstasy, the Sussex County Prosecutor's Office said.

Michael Calo, 21, was sentenced on May 1 to three years and given credit for 37 days served at the Keogh Dwyer Correctional Facility. Calo was also ordered to pay an undisclosed amount of fines and penalties.

Calo admitted he was in possession with the intent to distribute a schedule I controlled dangerous substance, namely MDMA also known as Ecstasy, when he was arrested on March 21, 2013 in Hopatcong, the prosecutor's office said.
