Hopatcong Man Gets 3 Years Probation for Burglary
Man broke into and stole cash from a Hopatcong home.
A Hopatcong man was sentenced to three years probation for third-degree burglary earlier this month.
Francisco Torres, 18, pleaded guilty in February to breaking into and stealing cash from a Hopatcong home. Police said a home surveillance video helped them identify Torres and a juvenile accomplice.
Torres must serve 30 days in a correctional facility and 30 days in the Sheriff's Labor Assistance Program. He must also submit a DNA sample and pay almost $3,000 in restitution and fines.
