Hopatcong Police Step Up Patrols Around Schools
Amid reports of a gunman near Hackettstown High School early Monday.
The has upped its manpower around borough schools after early Monday morning.
The police department posted the following on its Facebook page:
"As of 12:10 pm on Monday 03/26/12 the report of a person with a gun outside of a school is in Warren County and not Hopatcong. We have stepped up patrols in the area of the schools ONLY as a precaution as are other police departments in the area."
