Photos Released of Alleged Netcong Bank Robber

The Fulton Bank was robbed last week when a man called in a bomb threat and instructed the money be placed outside.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office released photos on Saturday of a man believed to be responsible for a Netcong bank robbery.

The Fulton Bank at 9 Ledgewood Ave. was robbed on Friday, July 11 at about 1 p.m., the prosecutor's office said in a statement released Saturday.

The man allegedly called in a bomb threat and instructed the money be placed in a receptacle outside the bank, according to the Daily Record. The man never entered the building and a bank official complied with the demands and placed the money outside, the Daily Record reported. 

Surveillance footage from nearby the bank show the robber and his vehicle, believed to be a Chevrolet Cobalt or Cruze with no front license plate, the prosecutor's office said.

The man is described as light skinned who was wearing jeans and a long-sleeve shirt at the time of the robbery, the prosecutor's office said.

The Morris County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit, Netcong Police, Morris County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Section and the FBI are investigating the incident.
